Delivery

Delivery and collection

Routh Farming Limited is a working farm in East Yorkshire, UK, and the machines we sell are our own. We can deliver your machine if you need it, with the delivery agreed during the sale. You can also collect it in person or arrange collection through a third party.

At ROUTH FARMING LIMITED® we are happy to load your machine into a container and take care of the paperwork, so the transaction runs smoothly.

Delivery includes the following:

  • Preparation: we change the engine oil, the air filter and the oil filter.
  • Inspection: before the machine leaves for its destination, we inspect it and take photos and video of it.
  • The documents needed to register the machine in the destination country.
  • Preparation for transport.
  • The delivery itself.

Delivery takes no more than 15 days, depending on the destination country.

If delivery will take longer than 15 days, we will tell you about the delay and you are entitled to cancel the order and receive a full refund.

We may use several delivery companies. Which one we use depends on the destination country, the number of orders going to that country, our own needs and any constraints we may have.

For most machines, we provide all the required documents at no charge: CE, export, Certificate of Origin and EUR1.

We quote the cost of delivery on request. On the proforma invoice it appears as a separate amount, next to the price of the machine.

We also load machines, large or small, onto trailers and into containers free of charge. In addition, our technical staff are skilled at dismantling a machine for loading.

We are not responsible for delays caused by bad weather, our suppliers or any other factor beyond our reasonable control. In particular, the following count as beyond our reasonable control:

  • An act of God.
  • Flood, tempest, fire or accident.
  • War, threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance or requisition.
  • Acts, restrictions, regulations, bye-laws, prohibitions or measures of any kind by any government, parliamentary or local authority.
  • Import or export regulations or embargoes.
  • Lock-outs, strikes or other industrial action in trade disputes.
  • Difficulty in obtaining labour, fuel, parts, raw materials or machinery.
  • Breakdown of machinery or power failure.
  • Failure by the buyer to collect the goods or to provide safe and/or adequate storage at the delivery site.
