ROUTH FARMING LIMITED — Tractor & Machinery Returns Policy

Thank you for your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your tractor or machinery, you can return it for a full refund or an exchange, under the conditions below.

When you can return a machine

You can ask to return or exchange your tractor or machinery within fifteen (15) days, counted from the day you sign to confirm that the machine has been received at its destination, under the conditions of this Returns Policy.

The machine must come back in the same condition as when it was delivered, with the operating-hour reading unchanged and all original tags and labels attached.

After the return period, requests about faults are handled under our warranty, on the terms and coverage described in the Warranty section below.

How to return a machine

To arrange a return, email our customer service team at info@routh-farming-ltd.co.uk. We will send you a return authorisation number and instructions for returning the machine.

We pay the cost of transporting the machine back to us, or reimburse you for it.

Refunds and exchanges

Once we have received the machine and checked its condition, we will process your refund or exchange, as long as the return meets the conditions of this policy.

Your refund also includes the delivery cost you paid when you bought the machine.

Processing takes at least three (3) days from the day we receive the machine. We will email you once your refund or exchange has been processed.

Warranty

Every machine we sell is covered by a warranty of three (3) months or three thousand (3,000) operating hours, whichever comes first. The warranty starts on the date you receive the machine and sign to confirm that everything matches the contract and that the machine arrived in the condition in which it was presented to you. It runs at the same time as the fifteen (15) day return period.

What is covered

The warranty covers all components of the machine, including the engine, transmission, hydraulic system, electrical system and structure, except the items listed under "What is not covered". It covers both parts and labour.

What is not covered

  • Consumable and wear items, such as filters, oils and other fluids, belts, bulbs and fuses, brake pads and linings, tyres, tracks, cutting edges, teeth and other ground-engaging tools.
  • Routine servicing and maintenance.
  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, overloading or neglect, or by failing to maintain the machine in line with the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Repairs or modifications carried out without our prior approval.
  • Any machine whose hour meter has been tampered with.

How to make a warranty claim

  1. Stop using the machine as soon as a fault appears, to avoid further damage.
  2. Take the machine to an authorised service centre. The centre inspects it and prepares a written report of its findings (inspection note and quotation or invoice).
  3. Email us the report at the address above, together with the machine's model and Stock No.
  4. We will review the report and confirm our decision within twenty-four (24) working hours at most.
  5. Do not start the repair before you receive our approval, otherwise we may not be able to cover its cost.
  6. Once we approve the repair, we pay its full cost.
